Eau-de-vie handed down from generation to generation. A subtle blend of 90%
eau-de-vie from the beginning of the last century and of 10% eau-de-vie from before the
phylloxera crisis (before 1870).
Grape varieties :
Ugni Blanc - Colombard - Folle Blanche - Jurançon - Blanc Ramé - Bouilleaux - Balzac
blanc and Chalosse.
(all the old
vintages no longer exist today) The increasingly complex Charente rancio derives added
richness from the fruity aromas of the eau-de-vie.
